This exceptionally rare 1963 Studebaker Lark Custom is one of only 31 units ever produced, making it a true prize for any serious collector. Under the hood is a numbers-matching, R-2 supercharged 289 cubic-inch V8 engine, paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. This is equipped with 3.73 gears with twin traction rear axle. Though both owners of this car confirmed the miles to be original at 57,922, the title is marked mileage exempt. This vehicle has been meticulously preserved and was purchased from the original owner’s family. It was originally delivered to Westminster California and was built and bought by Bill Dreiling, the owner of the local Studebaker dealership, to race in the streets of Los Angeles. The second owner acquired the car in 1997 and had it re-painted. The engine was completely rebuilt, mainly because of leaks, and has less than 1,000 miles since the rebuild. This vehicle comes with the original build sheet and window sticker. Finished with excellent paint and a pristine interior, this highly collectible is a low-production American classic.
